인터뷰 참여자 ‘말씀’은 피카소의 <게르니카>를 감상했을 때 ‘명료해지는 느낌’, ‘행복감’, ‘몸을 돌면서 순환이 되는 느낌’, ‘약간 파스 같은 느낌’, ‘완벽에 가까운 인간에 대한 사랑’을 느꼈다고 한다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

일상에서 이와 같은 감각을 언제 느꼈느냐는 질문에는 ‘떼제 공동체의 기도 방식으로 서로 청하고 노래하던 순간’, ‘학생과의 면담에서 소통이 됨을 느낄 때’, ‘몸 자체의 고유한 감각이나 원래의 자연스러운 움직임을 찾아주는 무용 작업에서 아무 틀 없이 춤추던 순간’을 떠올렸다.

    참여자의 감각과 내러티브는 서로를 응집하고 퍼져 나가는 구조로 연결되어 있으며, 이러한 점에서 이를 일종의 성좌로 이해하고 세 방향으로 펼쳐지는 아코디언 북으로 시각화하고자 했다.

During an interview, the participant Malsseum described several sensations she experienced when encountering Guernica by Pablo Picasso: “a feeling of clarity,” “a sense of happiness,” “a circulation moving through the body,” “something like a mild mentholated sensation,” and “an almost perfect love for humanity.”

    When asked when she had felt similar sensations in everyday life, she recalled several moments: praying and singing together in the style of the Taizé community; moments during one-on-one conversations with her students when she felt genuine communication taking place; and moments in dance practice when, while searching for the body’s inherent sensations or its natural movements, she found herself dancing freely without any imposed structure.

    The participant’s sensations and narrative gather and disperse through one another, forming a structure in which different elements condense and radiate. In this sense, they can be understood as a kind of constellation. The work visualizes this constellation in the form of an accordion book that unfolds in three directions.
